A Brand Identity for a
Community-Centered Tea House
Client:
Fayetteville Tea House
My Role:
Brand Strategist, Creative Director, Designer, Copywriter
Description:
I developed a warm, botanical-inspired brand identity for Fayetteville Tea House, a cozy gathering space located in a restored 1908 home. This project blended visual storytelling with architectural and garden elements to reflect the tea house’s mission: to cultivate connection, calm, and community through intentional experiences.
Goals:
Create a visual identity that reflects the tea house’s values of ritual, rest, and hospitality.
Build a flexible brand system that honors the physical space (and garden!) while remaining adaptable for digital and print.
Establish a cohesive tone and voice that feels human, inviting, and poetic.
Process:
Brand Strategy & Creative Direction
Designed logo, color palette, font system, and motifs inspired by the historic home’s architecture and garden-grown herbs; balanced structure with softness for a welcoming yet refined feel.
Voice & Messaging
Developed a brand voice rooted in warmth, wonder, and clarity, along with a detailed guide for consistent use across in-store signage, digital platforms, and seasonal promotions.
Marketing & Print Collateral
Created custom illustrations, botanical patterns, and signage concepts to extend the brand into storytelling, events, and merchandise opportunities.
Impact:
Delivered a cohesive, flexible brand system adaptable for both print and digital use.
Established a distinctive, human-centered identity that reflects the tea house’s mission and supports long-term growth in community engagement.
